About Book:

             This book on “A TEXTBOOK OF ENGINEERING PHYSICS-1’ has been written in accordance with the latest syllabus prescribed by the Anna Universities in Tamilnadu for the first semester BE/B.Tech degree course under the new regulation from the year 2014 2015

       This book is attempted with the expectation to meet the need for a good text book that would serve the requirements of both the learned and learning.

     Starting with the fundamentals, the various topics in this book have been presented systematically and logically in a simple and lucid language

        In view of the importance of the SI system of units, the readers can find the full-fledged use of the same throughout the text. More stress is laid on fundamentals rather than on mathematical equations

      To help the students to have a better grasp of the subject, a number of worked examples have been given in the appropriate places while a good number of well-graded questions have been provided at the end of each chapter.

       By attempting these questions, the student can ensure his success in the examination and also get sufficient insight into the subject.
