About Book:
Now a days in the field of communication, entertainment electronics and medical electronics digital electronics has taken giant strides. For students of engineering, computer science and pure science digital electronics is included as a paper, which the student is supposed to master in one semester. Though a number of excellent books are available in digital electronics, still s single book, that covers their syllabus is practically not there.
This book is arranged in twelve chapters. The first three chapters cover the basics of digital electronics like binary number systems, BCD coke, binary arithmetic etc. Chapter-4 introduces basic logic gates and logic circuits. Here fundamental ideas about implementing a logic circuit for a logic expression of writing a logic expression for a given logic circuit is discussed. The famous Boolean laws and simplification of Boolean expressions using these laws are dealt in Chapter-5. The DeMorgan’s laws and their application is showing that NAND and NOR are universal gates are also explained here.
