About Book:

         I feel enormous satisfaction in presenting the book “Indian Economy”, for a Bachelor Degree Course under the Faculty of Commerce,University of Madras. The book is written severely in accordance with the prescribed syllabus of B.Com. I felt that the student faced a lot of difficulties in understanding the language and content of the book”Indian Economy” . Therefore,a retiring attempt has been made to give an entire simplified textbook like capsule covering syllabus.Each and Every chapter and topic from the book have been developed at reasonable length so as to make it meaningful to the average as well as brilliant students.Suggestions for the further improvement of the book are welcome from the professors and students in the field of Indian Economy.
